DoorDash Employee Says Customer Pulled Knife on Her During Creepy Delivery: ‘I Just Want Some Human Contact’
Spooky season may be over, but one DoorDash delivery driver witnessed an incident straight from a horror movie just in time.
TikToker @fw.mackkk is going viral on the platform for her two-part video series that depicts an eerie story about a late-night delivery she made to a customer who had ordered from a local Wendy’s around 10 p.m.
On her way to deliver the food to the man, she said he requested that even though the DoorDash order indicated that he wanted the food dropped off at his door, he actually wanted her to hand it to him. He pauses and then says, “Well, really, I just need some human contact.” I don’t have friends. “So I started trembling,” recalls the DoorDasher.
She says in the video that she considered abandoning the order, but proceeded anyway, against her better judgment. It was a very rural area with multiple driveways. This is where the nightmare begins.
“He is standing in my headlights to my right a little bit. He’s wearing a yellow raincoat with three pockets, three layers and a down jacket.
The man then allegedly said that she shouldn’t be afraid and proceeded with whipping out a butterfly knife. This prompted the TikToker lock her doors and windows, and attempt to drive away.
“‘He shouted through my window. I don’t know what to say. It was difficult to get out of the driveway without pulling ahead because it was intersecting, so I didn’t know what to do. She said that he was yelling through my window, holding a butterfly knife in his hands.
She retreated from the driveway while the man continued to yell at them, throwing his food out the window and then running for it. She stated that she was not sure if the man was under the influence of alcohol or if he had a mental disorder, and warned other drivers to be safe.
pt 2 sorry !!
“I probably didn’t handle it correctly, but just be careful — A girl DoorDashing at night by herself just isn’t a smart decision,” she said. “I don’t know what would happen tonight if I hadn’t had better judgment. “
Both videos of the DoorDasher have been viewed over 2.1 million times. Hundreds of people comment on the videos, telling the girl to cancel the delivery and praising her for listening to her gut instincts.
“Always trust your gut instinct,” one user stated. “If it doesn’t feel right, it’s not. “
“Even though the cops don’t do anything, they’ll have this incident recorded,” another explained. “Please contact the police to discuss this. It could save someone’s life. “
