Pinterest Expands Content Efforts With Multiyear Tastemade Deal

Pinterest and Tastemade have inked a multiyear content deal that will see the food and lifestyle company produce 50 new shows, events and live programming for the social platform.

Programming will be available through 2023, later in the year, according to the companies’ Tuesday announcement. The new shows will be exclusively available on Pinterest. They will feature top creators from Tastemade and Pinterest across the U.S., Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific.

Tastemade also hosts in-person events for Pinterest creators at its studios located in Los Angeles, London and Tokyo.

This is Malik Ducard’s first major deal since he joined Pinterest from YouTube in October. (Axios first reported the deal on Tuesday. )

With Pinterest, Tastemade will be expanding its focus areas into beauty, fashion and fitness. This is in addition to its established presence in food and travel.
